from the holy land- it is a perennial corn plant. Its leaves are shaped like a long

pipe funnel with six short perianth lobes. The plant has many reproduction corns that

contain Colchicines- an important medical ingredient.

Blossom season- October- February- it grows in scrublands among bushes and rocks

in the Mediterranean areas and in the north and center parts of Israel.

It is not sensitive to extra water.
